Publication characteristics

Politika, Review of Social Sciences accepts any unpublished article but it prioritizes the subjects proposed as ‘following number’. Every contribution should accomplish the following instructions. The Editorial Board selects the articles that will be submitted to external assessment, prior to its publication. The contributions must be written in Word format and be sent in a computer’s disk plus a printed copy. Also to the following e-mail address:

Following the guiding principles of the review, the successive numbers will be organized, as far as possible, with regard to special issues. See following number.
The articles should have a length of twenty pages at most, double-space written in Times New Roman font 11. The title of the contribution, as well as the name of the author and a brief biographical notice should be included in an independent page, to remain anonymous to the external reviewers.
The author should also send a 200 words abstract in the language used in the contribution, as well as in english. Five keywords should also be included.
Book reviews should be headed with a title proposed by the author, followed by a complete bibliographical reference of the book: name of the author, year of publication, title, place and editor. In this case, the texts should have four pages at most.
When used, notes must be set as Footnotes.
Quotations inside the text should follow this norms:
- Inside the text: (Kymlicka, 2004: 65-76). If the author has more than one reference of the same year (Kymlicka, 2004b: 57)
-Footnote: when quoting a text not included in the bibliography, it should be stated as follow: Tomlinson, John (1999). Globalization and culture. Cambridge, Polity Press, p.p. 73-74.
Bibliographical References should adjust to this form:
